What an AWESOME day! For all the long timers here, who remembers ARCHIE STRONG??! Back in March of 2015 the momma and the daddy pulled Archie from Polk County pound for boston_terrier_rescue_fl . He was considered evidence in his abuse case so we had to wait until he was legally released. He was left to starve to death in an empty house but finally managed to escape through a screen and was picked up by the pound. He was so emaciated and sick but we got him all healthy again and he was adopted by an amazing family and they have kept in touch with us all of these years. They invited us over today to visit him! He is old and grey now but still so healthy and so very loved and cherished by his wonderful family. Every dog deserves to be loved like he is 🙌🙌❤️ He has an eye ulcer right now but they’ve got all his eye meds on board and he’s already doing better . It was so great to see him and hold him again and I know Zoey would have loved to see him![]()
Again to. She welcomed him and shared her home with him all those years ago along with all the other fosters through the years. I wish she was here to have seen him one more time, but it was because of her that we opened our home and it’s wonderful to see how his life was forever changed ❤️ Amazing what the love of one little dog can inspire ❤️❤️❤️🙌 We love you Archie Strong and the Semonick family…and I’m so proud of my little Zoey ❤️❤️❤️🙌😢![]()
