This is the most exciting announcement EVER! One of my ultimate hopes and dreams for my Bostonista! Beds is to be able to do at least two BULK donations a year to shelters in need. I am bursting with excitement for BTRET at this moment because two of their most awesome rescuers, Renee Ussery and Courtney Bryson, are making a dream of their own a reality; they received shipment today of the blocks that will build the walls of the shelter they are building in Rutlidge, Georgia called Rescue Ranch! I am so amazed and so proud for these two I can hardly stand it. As all of you as my witness I am going to fill that shelter up with so many Bostonista! Beds all them lil’smooshy heads will spin!
With an enormous amount of hard work, fund-raising, amazing parents and supporters Renee and Courtney have done an outstanding job on renovating the 200-year-old farmhouse on the property they purchased in Rutledge, Georgia and will be breaking ground on the kennel very soon! I LOVE this part; they have even kept the original bricks from the farmhouse and have made them available for $30 a brick with your own engraved message; all these bricks will be on site at the kennel they are building! I ordered mine today and can’t wait to see it when me and the momma drive our beds to Georgia this summer! Please consider puttin’ a brick in the wall for the love of bosties, this is a great thing and we are so happy for these girls and all the bosties they save. What an AWESOME day! For all the long timers here, who remembers ARCHIE STRONG??! Back in March of 2015 the momma and the daddy pulled Archie from Polk County pound for boston_terrier_rescue_fl . He was considered evidence in his abuse case so we had to wait until he was legally released. He was left to starve to death in an empty house but finally managed to escape through a screen and was picked up by the pound. He was so emaciated and sick but we got him all healthy again and he was adopted by an amazing family and they have kept in touch with us all of these years. They invited us over today to visit him! He is old and grey now but still so healthy and so very loved and cherished by his wonderful family. Every dog deserves to be loved like he is 🙌🙌❤️ He has an eye ulcer right now but they’ve got all his eye meds on board and he’s already doing better . It was so great to see him and hold him again and I know Zoey would have loved to see him![]()
Again to. She welcomed him and shared her home with him all those years ago along with all the other fosters through the years. I wish she was here to have seen him one more time, but it was because of her that we opened our home and it’s wonderful to see how his life was forever changed ❤️ Amazing what the love of one little dog can inspire ❤️❤️❤️🙌 We love you Archie Strong and the Semonick family…and I’m so proud of my little Zoey ❤️❤️❤️🙌😢![]()

We can’t thank you enough for so generously offering to fill BTRET’s rescue ranch with beds. We really want to provide the utmost comfort and care for all the little souls that we come in contact with. Building an emergency shelter for the rescue started after we volunteered to help with a hoarding case and were horrorfied at the conditions that the dogs were in and overwhelmed by the need to place so many dogs in such a short period of time. We are honored and humbled by the boston communities support, along with our family and freinds support, of our efforts to provide just one piece of puzzle in caring for these precious gifts.

OMG, i was just reading about this last night and asked someone there how to go about buying a brick. We definitely need at least one. Maybe on in memory of our Angel Boston’s, too – Kipper, Kippy, Buster, and Tucker. WOW, this is amazing. Maybe one day we can all visit BTRET =)

This is awesome!. Looks like it is going to be a great place in the first step in finding these dogs homes. I will try to buy a brick soon. Thinking about getting one in the memory of Nitro a very special dog for NEBTR that just passed on.
